thanks i made the banner from a hand drawing that Xcaption AwesomeX made ok the fist thing you need to know to make drawings like that is you need to know what you are good at EG:i am good at computer art but horrible at hand drawn art and xc is good at hand drawn art but not as good on computer once you found out what you are good at then it pays to get the stuff appropriate for it eg if you are like me then it will pay for you to get illastrater ( a computer drawing program) and photo shop if you are like xc then it will pay for you to get a graphics tablet and a scanner and it dosent hert to get photo shop eyther i have all readey gone on a bit hear so just start with that lol do you ha |

Practice...
learning how to draw takes time, but you could always find good tutorials online.

Depends on what your using it for... if your using the mouse in flash, then just draw it all with the line tool (even draw a outline of the shadows) then colour it and smooth out the lines.
