Programing Competition

ok this is an Programing Competition

How this works is:

you make an flash that it dose not have to look good it can be basic shapes if you wish but
it NEEDS to have Good Programing skills in it

and to test it we will come up with criteria that your flash has to meat
i will try to make it easy to start with:

1)uses loops (if or while statements)

2)all movement must be done by programing

3)you can not use the commands like onkeypress(<left>) instead you must use the letters on the key Bord to press (witch means you can still use on key press but you can not use things like <left> or <enter>)

4)you must state at the end of the flash file your coding (not all of it just the coding that you entered to make the previous things i stated work)

5)if your coding matches the coding of an earlier post you will be  disqualified (i do take note that some coding will have to be the same so i will let that pass but if it is too similar to an earlier post i will disqualify you (as it is most likely that you coped an earlier submission)

6)you can add any thing else to the programing to improve your chances to win but all coding you want to be judged on must be stated at the end of your project
(this is the part where the judges will mostly look for any coding that could of been posted from an earlier submission)

7)also remember it is not the amount of coding you put in but the quality of coding you put in that matters.

8)the voting will be done after the closing time at the end of November

10)first upload your flash hear:http://www.zshare.net/ or any other place you can up load your flash to wher it wont get deleted
and then ether embed your flash on the page hear using the

or give use the hyper link to your flash

but remember it is a programing Competition so i would expect you to know how to properly embed it hear using the

Uhm, yeah, I figured I'd give this a go.

PS_Compo.swf
There's the SWF. It's a little game that really doesn't do much, or wouldn't really qualify as a game at all for that matter. You're the black square and can move around with WASD. If you touch the (not moving) red squares, you lose. No point in this game at all.

The code's a bit long, so I've also uploaded the Document Class: PS_Compo.as. If you want to run it, just pop it in any AS3 FLA with a 200x200 background.

The parts wanted (loops, keyboard movement and stuff) should be easily noticable in the code. I've also commented it a bit.

Also, I hope I didn't do anything wrong, I was a bit confused about 3), so I just used the keycodes WASD.
If there IS something wrong with it, just tell me so I can fix it.
